Blossom / XinJiang Court Chinese Muslim Restaurant @ Allson Kelana Seremban

Staying in Seremban, you can't find too many Chinese restaurants around that was also halal approved. That was certainly a major problem for me since I like eating Chinese cuisines, thus the easiest place to find for said halal chinese food was definitely in hotels.

Steamed cod fish with soy sauce. Said to be the Grand Emperor who ruled all the fish in the sea, it certainly tastes like one too. It has a soft texture, tastes fresh, very nice fragant(didn't taste or smell like the sea) and tastes better than any other fish I've ever eaten. Worthy of its throne.

Garlic butter prawns. The gravy had a nice creamy texture and the prawns were of high grade(thick) but sadly the overall dish was overpowered by the taste of the garlic. Ouch! my nose!

Vension black pepper. One of the must order dish. Perfectly balanced with vegetables, this is a joy eat. The venison is just so soft and chewy and is well seasoned with black pepper sauce.

Dishing it out: As a kid, I was always brought to this restaurant by my parents for special occassions. The reason being, one visit can cost up to RM700-RM800 for 4-5 person. One can still enjoy its overpriced butter prawn and venison black pepper but stay clear from its highly overpriced dishes such as cod fish, shark fin soup and four seasons platter just to name a few. Do try the steamed cod fish if you get the chance as it is m-a-g-n-i-f-i-c-e-n-t!

Coming back for more value: YES for cod fish and vension but the price will make me think twice
Crowd: NO
Cleanliness: CLEAN
Service: VERY GOOD
Category: HALAL/PORK-FREE

GPS Coordinates: N2.721333,E101.950722
