Bora Bora by Sunset @ Batu Ferringhi

We happened to discover this new hangout place when we were window shopping through the back shops of Batu Ferringhi's night market. So happened that the day of our visit was the launching week of the cafe. Said to be the latest happening to hit Penang's night scene, this cafe is kept as lively as it can be with tunes played by DJ and stage performances. There are two parts to this shop, indoor and outdoor. We preferred sitting outside as it was facing the sea and you get to dine on the beach! The tables are moveable so you can pick a spot you like and just chill to the sea's breeze. Lazy chairs are also provided for you to hang out near the sea.

A disco ball. Cliche' but it works. Operational hours: 12.00pm- 1.00am from Sunday to Thurday. 12.00pm- 3.00am on Friday, Saturday and Eve of Public Holiday.

That is the stage where performances are done. The happening ambience outside attracts local and foreign visitors alike. Well, actually more to foreign visitors as they like these kind of dining atmosphere where you can just chill and do your thing.

A bonfire! Our very first bonfire by the beach experience I might add! Foreigners: Jumped over the fire. Locals: Paranoid that the spit fire would burn their hair.

Chicken wings. Pls don't mind the bones, we got too hungry and forgot to take a snap first. XD

Beef pepperoni pizza. One of the fondest moments of our Penang visit. This pizza is absolutely delightful! The crust below is thin and it packs a crunch when you munch. The top is filled with oozy cheese and the tomato sauce base was not overdone allowing you to fully enjoy the taste of the cheese. Simply awesome.

Dishing it out: There are many other dishes provided by Bora Bora as well ranging from pastas, pizzas, other western cuisines and also local cuisines such as nasi goreng. But more than anything you should enjoy here is the ambience and fun filled activities they provide.

Coming back for more value: YES
Crowd: YES
Cleanliness: CLEAN
Service: VERY GOOD they make you feel right at home
